Mark Cassell is a British horror author based on the south-east coast of England, where he lives with his wife and a menagerie of animals—including Arnie the bearded dragon. A former baker, lab technician, driving instructor, actor, and even spotlight operator for an Elvis impersonator, Mark brings the same eclectic energy to his fiction. His work has appeared in almost fifty magazines and anthologies, earning a reputation for twisting familiar horror tropes into something darker and far less predictable. He is the author of the best-selling Shadow Fabric novel, the collection Stitches and Threads, and the novella Hell Cat of the Holt, all part of his expanding modern-day cosmic-horror mythos.
